 Today we started talking about current events in the world. We separated into 5 groups, and we all wrote a current event down and picked one. My group got,” why there aren’t a lot of black nfl coaches.” I feel that this topic is easy to talk about because I know a lot about football and the nfl.

 Today we continued the benchmark test with question 20. We had to type a 3 paragraph summary about amendments 1 and 7 and the first and last set of the amendments. I feel like I didn’t completely understand the question which made it harder for me to type a 3 paragraph summar on it, but I tried my best to.

 Today we took the benchmark test. Today we did questions 1-19 and tomorrow we are doing 20. I feel kind of confident in how I did because of the summary questions where you had to look back at the passage and use that to support your answer, and 2 of the multiple choice answers but besides that i am pretty confident

 Today we read a short story called sun bush. It was about a man he’s daughter read his writing and asked if he killed someone. When he told the story, he remembered that he killed a man with a grenade and he regretted it. One of his friends tried to convince him it was a good kill. He went on to forgive himself sometimes and he felt guilty other times.

 Today we went over a poem called funeral home n my brain. The poem was about a girl who thought she was going crazy because she saw everything at her own funeral but she was dead. We had a class discussion about how important mental health is, and how it can negatively affect you. 

 Today i went home because I was sick. I had to get tested for Covid but it was negative. So I went home and rested.
